From Saturday April 13 to Thursday October 31 2024, there will be a cruise with the Krommerijnder according to the schedule below.
The departure time of the step-up cruise on Saturday is at 1.30 PM. From Wijk bij Duurstede to Cothen and back. A short break is possible in Cothen. During this break, the skipper will turn the barge around for the return trip to Wijk bij Duurstede and, if you wish, you have the opportunity to eat or drink something at the café 'Het Molentje' if they are open. You can also use the toilet here.
For about 3 hours, we will show you the beautiful nature along the banks of the Kromme Rijn river. Along the way, we will tell you about the important role the Kromme Rijn river played in our region. We will also tell you about the beautifull countryside and the role of Dorestad in the Middle Ages, the golden age of Wijk bij Duurstede, its decline through the 80-year war and the excavations and finds here in our municipality.
The maximum number of guests on board is twelve.

In summary, we will offer you the following cruises in 2024:
Boarding cruise:
- April 27 to September 28: every Saturday except September 9, max. 12 passengers
- departure: 1:30 PM, boarding point Blauwe Pannen
- costs p.p: adults € 10.50 and children up to 12 years € 8.00.
Group cruise:
- April 13 to October 31: exclusive cruises for groups of max. 12 participants
- you can determine the departure time yourself (at the full hour)
- except Saturdays in May to September (see boarding cruises)
- except the days of the Utrecht cruises
- group costs € 120,00
Utrecht cruise:
- during the week 28, July 10 to 13
- during the week 33, August 14 to 17
